Amber Wobbekind M.D, MPH

Dr. Wobbekind moved to Golden in 2015 to start her medical practice "The Golden Stethoscope". The name represents the outstanding level of care and commitment her patients receive from her, both rooted in the past and reaching out towards the future.

She loves the Direct Primary care model in medicine as it provides amazing opportunities in the doctor-patient relationship. It helps her focus on the most important thing, health. With this model, Dr. Wobbekind can easily overcome the drawbacks of insurance and can focus on keeping her patient happy and healthy. Patients can see her in the office or email and text her in case of any queries.

Dr. Wobbekind completed her undergraduate degree in Psychobiology with a Minor in English from UCLA. She returned to Colorado to attend medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Then she completed her primary care residency program in Internal Medicine at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Once again, after residency, she returned to Colorado to complete her Master's in Public Health and Tropical Medicine training at Johns Hopkins University.
