Dr. Sanjeev Singhal, MD

Sanjeev Singhal, MD is Frederick Psychiatry’s Medical Director and sole psychiatrist. Dr. Singhal created Frederick Psychiatry, LLC after a successful tenure as Medical Director at Behavioral Health Partners of Frederick, Inc. (a program of Sheppard Pratt Health Systems). After completing his medical education at M. A. Medical College in New Delhi, he finished his psychiatric training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1997. Dr. Singhal is board certified in general psychiatry and treats persons from adolescence (15+) through adulthood. Dr. Singhal specializes in the treatment of ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Treatment Resistant Depression, (when multiple medications fail to treat Depression), Anxiety Disorders (such as Panic Disorder, Social and Generalized Anxiety Disorder), among other mental health illnesses. Dr. Singhal also holds a special interest in meditation and yoga as alternative, holistic psychiatric treatments. If your treatment needs are primarily for family counseling, relationship issues, court mandated treatment, custody related, or substance abuse or addiction related, we are unable to provide the counseling needed for your treatment.
