High cost of care, big gaps in care and bigger medical debts

The United States spent about 16% of the total GDP on healthcare from 1980- 2019, when compared with the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada. According to a research done by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 41% of the adult American have some type of medical debt. Here is the breakdown of the research: - 4 in 10 adults have currently have medical debt.

- Act as a Self-pay Patient. If you have a high deductible insurance plan and you still owe a huge amount on your deductible, ask your doctor for a self-pay price. You will be amazed how much you can save.
