Balanced & regulated flow of Qi

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), vital energy called Qi(Chi) is flowing through Living Body, on fixed Pathways, called Meridians. It is the Balanced and regulated flow of Qi in the Meridians which keeps the body Functional, Energetic, Emotionally balanced and Physiologically Healthy. When due to some Emotional or Physical trauma, disturbance occurs in the unobstructed and balanced flow of Qi, that is when the disease may ensue. An appropriate treatment must be done, to regain the balance and harmony in the flow of Qi and to win back Health. Acupuncture along other ancient/ traditional modalities of treatment has been used for the purpose.

Without any medication

Since Centuries in China, Acupuncture has been used for re-regulating the flow of Qi to strengthen the Body enough to Cure itself and get rid of disease on its own, without any medication. In Acupuncture, the practitioner inserts needles on therapeutically effective points of the Meridians to remove obstructions in the flow of Qi or to regulate the flow itself.  Generally these needles are retained in place, for a specific time, during the treatment session.

Modern-day precision made Acupuncture needles are sterilized, single-use,  and have specific designs for use on different areas of the body for different treatment needs. The needles are approved for use, by the US Food and Drug Administration Authority (FDA).

This ancient treatment is now more widely used as complementary care to effectively treat not only Aches and Pains, but also has established its efficacy in the treatment of Addictions, Anxiety, Allergies, Asthma, Depressions, Migraines, Athletic Injuries, and Post Stroke Rehabilitation.

Acupuncture has gained such a popularity that a concept of Pain management feels incomplete without its use. The realization of analgesic’s side effects, by the medical profession and by the public at large, has too been fanning  the popularity of Acupuncture.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a therapeutic method of traditional Chinese medicine that involves applying heat by stimulating a series of points of the body ¬ in order to heal disorders or diseases and achieve the balance of  physiological functions.

Moxibustion is used in many cases combined with acupuncture, because both techniques are not only complementary and compatible, but can enhance its healing effect. The same points are usually used for this therapy as in acupuncture, since the two therapeutic methods obey the same medical tradition and respond to the same energy channels.

The Ancient Therapy

This ancient therapy is a part and parcel of traditional Chinese Medicine. It serves as a mean to promote therapeutic circulation of Qi and blood into certain areas of the body. It also collects stagnant blood under the specially designed vacuumable cup to let the blood out for Detoxification.

Cupping can be done with or without Bleeding process. Cupping may be used to potentiate the effect of Acupuncture or as a standalone therapy for a number of health issues.

What can be treated by cupping

The process of cupping tends to collect stagnant toxic blood, enabling it’s drawing out from the body. It invites fresh blood and Qi circulation to the affected areas, meridians and the internal organs connected to them. It reduces Dampness, swelling, pain, and relaxes tense muscles.

A few conditions usually treated by cupping alone or with Acupuncture include:

  • Gynecological disorders
  • Wrinkles and Cellulite removal
  • Muscle soreness and pains
  • Facial Rejuvenation
  • Acute sprains
  • A low backache
  • Performance improvement
  • Periodic Health maintenance

The negative pressure under cups helps to break the Cellulite and moves it out through lymphatic drainage. The enriched blood circulation after cupping helps regenerate the new more elastic Collagen under the skin, to rejuvenate and tighten it.

  • Reduces Swelling.
  • Assists with Post-Op Recovery.
  • Reduce Some Symptoms of Osteoarthritis.
  • Magnetic Therapy Is Good for General Well-Being.
  • Potentially Alleviate Symptoms of Pain.
  • Improve blood flow to body tissues.
Gua Sha
