What's included in the price?


Should you be a candidate for surgery, the facility fee, surgeon’s fee, and anesthesiologist’s fee are included in the price. The pricing page has information on which procedures that may require additional fees such as implants.

Who will be my surgeon?


Texas Free Market Surgery will provide you with a surgeon experienced in your particular procedure. If you have a preference among our surgeons, please indicate when you contact us.

What about the quality of the surgeons?


All of our surgeons are highly qualified, and have often obtained training above and beyond the standard in their area of expertise. Our surgeons are selected to be partners based upon their track record of performing the operations that they are credentialed to perform for Texas Free Market Surgery. They undergo a thorough vetting process before we ever allow them to step up to the table. We seek a culture of collaboration amongst our peer-selected providers that ensures that we keep getting better and more efficient.

What happens if my surgeon determines I am not a surgical candidate?01.


 

A $200 surgical consultation fee is included in our price. If you are not a candidate for surgery, you are only responsible for the consultation fee. If you are a surgical candidate, this fee is already included in the price.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

How long are price quotes valid?


All quoted prices are valid for 60 days. If your employer is contracted with us, the quotes are good for one year.

What methods of payment do you accept?


We accept cash, cashier’s check, and all major credit cards. If your employer has a direct contract with us, we will receive payment directly from your employer. All other scenarios will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Can payment arrangements be made?


In general, no. Payment in full is required at the time service is rendered, or we must have a current agreement in place with your TPA or self-insured employer. Part of the reason we’re able to offer prices that are so affordable is by reducing billing complexity.
 

Can I stay overnight in the facility?


Overnight stays are usually not necessary, but arrangements can be made for post-operative stays. Certain procedures will have the cost of an overnight stay included in the price.
