Dr. Peter Kung earned his Doctorate in Medicine with top honors at Northwestern University School of Medicine. His special interests include knee and shoulder arthroscopy and the treatment of sports-related injuries.

He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California at San Francisco in 2008 and worked as a sports medicine fellow at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles.

While at Kerlan-Jobe, Dr. Kung trained under world-renowned orthopedic surgeons and treated professional athletes from the LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, LA Kings, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Ducks and LA Sparks, and USC football. He also served as assistant team physician for Loyola Marymount University.

Dr. Lassen was born in Eugene, Oregon. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Southern Oregon State College in 1986. After earning his medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), he completed a general surgery internship and a urology residency at Willford Hall USAF/Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio in 1996.

Dr. Jon Kretzler was born in Seattle. After graduating from Western Washington University, he earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the medical honor society. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He received fellowship training in sports medicine at Penn State University, where he worked with the school’s athletic teams. Dr. Kretzler served in the U.S. Army Reserves for nine years before joining Longview Orthopedic Associates in 1993.

He is an associate clinical professor at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Portland, Oregon, and instructs orthopedic residents from Oregon Health Sciences University.

He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Kretzler’s interests include general orthopedics, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, and injury prevention. He is also qualified to perform transplants for articular cartilage defects.

After participating in intercollegiate soccer for four years, Dr. Kretzler continues to play recreational soccer and is an avid skier. He is also a certified soccer referee.

Dr. Jake McLeod completed his undergraduate work at the University of Portland before earning a medical degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

He then completed a three-year surgical residency program at the Highlands Foot & Ankle Institute in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. McLeod routinely deals with sprains, fractures, and other foot pain due to bunions, flat feet, or arthritis. He specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, total ankle replacements, and minimally invasive surgeries, including ankle arthroscopy.

Dr. McLeod has attended numerous advanced surgical courses, including those covering flatfoot reconstruction, foot and ankle arthroscopy, total ankle replacement, and fundamentals of external fixation for trauma and deformity correction.

He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Washington State Podiatric Medical Association.

A native of Bandon, Oregon, Dr. McLeod is an avid fan of the Oregon Ducks, Portland Trailblazers, and Atlanta Braves.
