Adam A. Golas, M.D.

Dr. Adam Golas pursued his Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. After that, he received his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency program in general surgery followed by a bariatric and minimally-invasive surgery fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.

He joined Southern Indiana Surgery in October 2018 where he practices both general and bariatric surgery. His immense contribution to several citations and publications includes peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), insulin dosing, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia, and diabetes diagnosis and mortality.

His renowned work has been published in the International Journal of Stroke, Journal of Laparoendoscopic& Advanced Surgical Techniques, and American Journal of Medical Quality.
