Charles Tawa

My medical journey began at Boston University, where I studied molecular biology before pursuing medicine in Grenoble, France. There, in the heart of the Alps, I developed a passion for practical, hands-on care while mountaineering and practicing what I call "Medicine on the Rocks".
After relocating to Colorado, I continued in a University Trauma Center and started a family practice clinic before founding Boulder Family Medicine. Following several years in another private practice, I chose to return to independent medicine.
Today, I have reopened Boulder Family Medicine with a renewed focus on thoughtful, relationship-centered primary care for the Boulder community
