Chris Lupold, MD, FAAFP

I spent my childhood in rural Pennsylvania with my mother, who is a family doctor. As a benefit of staying close to a family doctor, I still remember the "good`ol days" of medicine. In 1999, I came to know about direct primary care. Transparent pricing and the ability to spend more time with patients were the things that attracted me the most.

I studied at Bucknell University, where I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Then, I pursued an MD degree from Jefferson Medical College. I did my family medicine residency program at Lancaster General Hospital.

I married Jessica, my high school sweetheart. We are the proud parents of a son and two daughters.

Keeping in mind the current broken healthcare system, I created Alere Family Health in 2017. Alere in Latin means "to heal". We work for patients who need an alternative healthcare option. Direct Primary Care helps me provide healthcare without insurance to patients of all ages.

When free, I attend Worship Center in Leola and also volunteer as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 83.
