Being originally from Puerto Rico, I trained in Family Medicine at the Bella Vista Family Medicine Program.

After completing this training, my wife, young daughter and I moved to Illinois to complete a post-graduate fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Soon after I became Associate Medical Director of hospice and palliative care with a national Hospice organization and managed their Chicagoland inpatient hospice unit.

I held this position until we moved to California. Before Premier Direct Care, I was employed for 5 years by an HMO subcontractor in the Coachella Valley.

In my experience, I have learned that the healing Patient-Doctor relationship needs to be center stage in Medical Care.
