Dr. Jose Bacala MD

Dr. Bacala grew up as a Air Force Military brat, but calls Las Vegas, Nevada home.  He received his bachelor's degree in Health Physics/Comprehensive Medical Imaging at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2006.  He worked as a Ultrasonographer at multiple hospitals here in Las Vegas prior to going to medical school at the American University of St. Maarten School of Medicine. He graduated medical school in 2011.  After graduating, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Beaumont Health in Michigan in 2015. Prior to moving back to Las Vegas, he served as an attending faculty/professor at Beaumont Health where he taught resident physicians and medical students. During this time he also served as medical director at a community urgent care. Dr. Bacala has received the "Patients' Choice Award" and "Compassionate Doctor Award" multiple times. He is a board certified Family Medicine Physician.
