DR. STANLEY IKEZI

Dr. Stanley Ikezi is a Double Board Certified Pain Management Specialist. He is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist, as well as a Board-Certified Interventional Pain Management Physician.

Dr. Ikezi completed his undergraduate and medical education at the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education (CUNY Medical School), and SUNY Downstate Medical School respectively. He graduated with high honors (Magna Cum Laude). He subsequently completed his Residency training in Anesthesiology at the State University of New York at Downstate in Brooklyn.

After completion of residency training, he went on to complete an ACGME-accredited pain medicine fellowship program, in the Department of Anesthesiology at the well-renowned University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) – one of the top 10 Hospitals in the nation.

Additionally, Dr. Ikezi holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management from Binghamton University.

Dr. Ikezi has received numerous appraisals and letters of commendation from his patients and peers for his ability to effectively listen while providing compassionate and comprehensive care, using a multi-disciplinary approach. This is an approach aimed at treating the whole person– mind, body and spirit.

Dr. Ikezi has over a decade worth of knowledge and clinical expertise in the practice of medicine. With his empathetic demeanor and outstanding skill set in the clinical practice of pain medicine, patients consider Dr. Ikezi the ‘go to guy’ for their pain management needs.

Dr. Ikezi keeps up to date with advancement in pain medicine. He employs new cutting edge treatments that have been clinical proven to relieve pain. He also incorporates multimodal strategies, minimally invasive therapies and spinal implantable devices to improve his patients’ functionality and overall quality of life.

Dr. Ikezi has always been actively involved in community service both locally and internationally – Africa, the Caribbean and South America. His hobbies include reading, writing, physical and aerobic exercise, networking, and global volunteerism.
