Dr. Zain Hakeem D.O

Dr. Zain Hakeem grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He completed his undergraduate training in philosophy at the Louisiana State University and pursued his Osteopathic medical degree in Fort Worth at the Texas College of Osteopathy. He went on to pursue a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Hakeem is Board Certified both in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Along with his work at RiverRock, Dr. Hakeem still practices hospital medicine to preserve his acute medical care skills and spread awareness of primary care cost errors.

Dr. Hakim is the creator of the Rx-Bayes App, a statistical app, which helps doctors understand that test results are not always accurate, and how to determine when the results are likely to be wrong. He has also given a lecture for patients to understand the basics of the app working.
