John Mansfield MD

Dr. Mansfield earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester and completed both his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Utah. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Before joining Longview Urology in 2011, he completed a 21-year active duty career at the rank of colonel with the U.S. Air Force. He has been stationed in Arizona, Alaska, England, Illinois and California.

From January 2008 to June 2008, he was the sole urologist at the Balad Air Base, Iraq Hospital. He operated on soldiers from the U.S., Great Britain, France, Georgia, Iraq, Spain and Russia.

In January 2010, he volunteered to lead a 60-person, 10-bed hospital to Haiti to provide support immediately after the earthquake. Dr. Mansfield and his wife, Pamela, have five children

. His hobbies include woodworking, fishing, boating, and golf.
