LaTamia White Green

LaTamia White-Green, M.D., is a Psychiatrist who is double Board Certified in General Adult and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine at Florida A&M University where she graduated magna cum laude. After earning her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, she completed her General Psychiatry Residency training at the University of Alabama (Birmingham) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology. Her final two years of specialized clinical training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry were completed at the Children's Health System of Alabama.

Dr. White-Green’s clinical and teaching experience includes serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology. While in Alabama, she served as Medical Director of UAB Civitan-Sparks Clinic, a multidisciplinary clinic serving individuals with developmental disabilities. She has conducted extensive research at the university level examining pharmacological treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. White-Greenhas made Florida her home since 2011, serving as a staff psychiatrist for Lakeland Regional Medical Center and BayCare Health System Behavioral Health Division. She has also worked with community mental health organizations in Central Florida that provide trauma therapy and substance abuse treatment for children and families involved in adoption and foster care.

Dr. White-Green has excellent clinical training and diverse clinical experience. She is compassionate, empathic, and has an excellent bedside manner.
