Mark Walker, M.D.

Mark Walker, M.D., is a medical doctor specializing in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. After earning his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean, St. Maarten, Dr. Walker completed an adult psychiatric residency in 1993 at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center, an affiliate of New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

He went on to complete fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Florida. His experience includes working as an attending psychiatrist, providing outpatient services for the Florida Department of Corrections. Subsequently, he served as the chief attending inpatient psychiatrist for Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Walker is experienced treating a diverse range of clients with a broad set of mental health conditions in adults, adolescents, and children. His background in working with young patients includes treating developmental delays and learning impairments, attention deficit disorder (ADD), eating disorders, as well as trauma victims, depression, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Walker strives to provide the best possible care for each of his clients while treating each patient with empathy and respect.
