How much should I expect to invest on lab testing?


Comprehensive lab testing can range in pricing. However, our most common test can run from $150 – $400 depending on what you are testing. Sometimes, insurance can cover a portion of the test.

What is functional lab testing?


Functional laboratory testing may include blood, stool, urine, saliva or hair samples to provide information about a variety of systems including metabolic, nutritional, endocrine, gastrointestinal, hormonal, immune, genetic, detoxification, and others.

How many acupuncture sessions will I need?


Acupuncture has a cumulative effect over time. Which means, you may need more than one session to tackle your concern. Typically we will see patients once a week for a few weeks until symptoms subside.

How does acupuncture work?


Acupuncture stimulates acu point in the body that directly correspond to a specific organ or limb. Small and thin needles are then placed in these acu points and encourage your nervous system to promote healing in that area.

What ingredients can be put into an IV?


Our most common IV’s include a custom blend of vitamins and nutrients like high dose vitamin c, glutathione, b vitamins and much more. We also offer chelation, which is the removal of heavy metals through a pharmaceutical medication that is added into your IV.

How long does an IV treatment take?


Depending on the purpose of the IV treatment, ingredients used and your body’s tolerability, an IV treatment can range from 1-2.5 hours.

What is the purpose of IV Therapy?


IV treatments are used when a patient is feeling rundown, suspects they may be getting sick, have nutrient absorption issues, or just need a medication delivered directly into their bloodstream.

What medications can a Naturopathic Doctor prescribe?


Naturopathic Doctors undergo rigorous education on pharmaceutical drugs, and depending on state regulation, are allowed to prescribe pharmaceutical medications. In the state of California, we are allowed to prescribe these drugs to our patients. However, we typically don’t prescribe pharmaceuticals at the first sign of symptoms or illness.

Are Naturopathic Doctors covered by insurance?


Naturopathic medicine coverage is largely based on your individual health insurance plan. Although we don’t accept insurance as a form of payment for your visits, we do provide you with a superbill at the end of each visit. These superbill’s can be submitted directly to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration.

In the state of California, Naturopathic Doctors are considered primary care physicians, which means they treat a variety of different symptoms and diseases. At Integrative Wellness, we have a special interest in hormonal, gut, stress, mood and sleep disorders.
