Rachelle comes to us from Ann Arbor, MI with more than 7 years of experience in vision, communication science, and concussion rehabilitation. Rachelle created programs such as the move and learn program, visual training, and the concussion program, enhancing brain function with movement and attention. Rachelle has been able to help build the center to a more integrative multi-modal approach to learning and recovery. She has studied and worked with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), traumatic brain injuries, concussions and neurological disorders, helping her understand the different needs of each client. Rachelle is also a huge fan of playing basketball and advocates for enhancing visual skills to improve athletic and cognitive performance.

Description

Rachael Little, MSc, is a licensed professional clinical counselor and an associate marriage and family therapist with extensive training and experience in neurofeedback and neuromodulation. She also provides assessment and psychotherapy to children, individuals, couples, and families at Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic in Palo Alto, California.

Ms. Little applies her skills to address a broad range of conditions. Clients trust her expertise for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and traumatic brain injuries.

As an experienced lecturer, Ms. Little has presented on the evolving field of neurofeedback at numerous conferences across the United States. She earned her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Canada. Ms. Little then completed her Master of Science through the clinical psychology/marriage and family therapy/licensed professional clinical counselor program at Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California. 

Prior to joining Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic, Ms. Little provided care for children and adults in community-based mental health settings around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Description

Diana Barrett, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of children, adults, and seniors. She is the director of assessment at Abbey Neuropsychology Clinic where she also provides neuropsychological care to the Palo Alto, California, community.

Dr. Barrett provides neuropsychological assessment, consultations, therapy, parent therapy, executive function therapy, and interventions to clients of all ages. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions, such as learning disabilities, developmental disorders, autism spectrum, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

After earning her doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Montana in Missoula, Dr. Barrett completed an internship at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute in Salt Lake City. During her internship, Dr. Barrett gained experience providing care for children and adults at both in-client and day-treatment facilities. 

Dr. Barrett completed her post-doctoral training at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California. This training focused on evaluation and therapy services for children, adolescents, and families.

Dr. Stephanie Abbey is a licensed psychologist who provides psychotherapy to teens and adults. She helps with a variety of concerns, including difficulties with relationships, life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, body image, grief/loss, trauma, and sexual orientation.

She works collaboratively with her clients to identify and cultivate their strengths so they can reach their goals and lead happier, healthier lives. Dr. Abbey integrates issues of diversity and explores clients’ needs within the context of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs.

Dr. Abbey has experience working at community mental health centers, inpatient hospitals, residential treatment centers, and university counseling centers, including Santa Clara University.

Dr. Abbey is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist. He provides neuropsychological evaluations for infants, children, and adults. He is the director of neuropsychological services and is involved in every case in his clinic. His research focuses on learning disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and the neurocognitive effects of cancer treatments. Dr. Abbey also specializes in neuropsychological functioning related to medical complications including brain trauma, injury, stroke, epilepsy, cancer, and seizures.
