Board certified in five specialties and once named one of “America’s Top Cardiologists” by the Consumer Research Council, Dr. Albizemdraws on 15 years’ experience in clinical and interventional cardiology to focus his practice on optimizing circulatory health for his patients. He has also published numerous works in medical journals and served as a presenter in national peer meetings.
Dr. Albizem’s board certifications include cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He is an esteemed fellow in the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Jahan received her medical degree from Dhaka Medical College in Dhaka, Bangldesh, going on to complete her residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center (1997-2000).
She is board certified in internal medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Outside of work, Dr. Jahan enjoys reading, listening to music, watching soccer, tennis, and cricket. She also enjoys spending time with family and loves to travel.
Dr. Jahan joined Heart Care Consultants in July 2016 and serves primary care patients at several of our locations.
Dr. Elena Annopolsky is originally from Leningrad where she also attended medical school and fellowship. She graduated from The First Pavlov Medical School and completed the fellowship program at Head Pulmonary Research Institute, the Central Research School in the Soviet Union. She later completed an internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center and St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Dr. Annopolsky has found that heart and lung disorders are the most interesting to her. Outside of work, her interests include learning about natural remedies, gardening (especially lemons, figs, and other plants), theater and ballet, adopted cats, and astronomy. She is bilingual (English and Russian) and delivers primary care in Northeast Philadelphia.
Dr. Quevedo earned his medical degree from the Major University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru. Subsequently, he completed Internal Medicine and Geriatrics training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Tulane University in New Orleans.
He is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine. Prior to joining Heart Care Consultants in July 2019, Dr. Quevedo was affiliated with the Louisiana Heart Center, a private cardiovascular group serving the Louisiana Northshore.
Dr Mustafa Graduated from University of Punjab Lahore, Pakistan and receivedhis initial training in internal medicine in the United Kingdom. In 1994, he was awarded membership in Great Britain’s prestigious Royal College of Physicians. In the United States, he completed his Internal medicine residency at Graduate hospital, a University of Pennsylvania program.
He has since earned a cardiology fellowship from Newark Beth Israel Medical center and an Interventional cardiology fellowship from the Albert Einstein Medical center in Philadelphia.
Dr. Ebba is an Internal Medicine Specialist with a board certification.
He is affiliated with Delaware County Memorial Hospital and the Mercy Catholic Medical Center’s Mercy Fitzgerald Campus.
Dr. Ebba is recognized for his tireless commitment to the care of his patients and for taking time to know and understand their life circumstances and medical histories.
Dr. Koka is a Board Certified Internist/Cardiologist who hold additional certifications in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Device management.
He completed his Medical Degree, Residency and Chief Residency at Temple University Hospital, and completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University.
His main interests in addition to imaging of the heart relate to preventive care, cardiometabolic management, as well as the management of patients with stroke and a suspected cardiac source.
He writes frequently on cardiology and health-care policy and has been published in thehealthcareblog.com, Medscape and Quillette.
Dr. Potharlankais board certified in internal medicine, trained in integrative medicine, and has over 10 years. of experience as an Internist, a hospitalist and an office-based Practitioner.
She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Hahnemann, Drexel University in Philadelphia. In addition to practicing at Heart & Vascular Care Consultants, she is a hospitalist at University Medical Center at Princeton (UMPC) in Plainsboro, New Jersey and at Centerstate Medical Center in Freehold. She has served as medical director, physician advisor and occupational health physician, at UMPC where she initiated and led the hospitalist program. Before that, she was the associate medical director & lead hospitalist at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly and at Shore Memorial Center in Somers Point. She was also previously medical director at Genesis Healthcare-Park Place.
