Dr. Andre Shook is a Colorado Springs native and has been a lifelong patient of Powers Dental Group. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado in 2011 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 2016. Dr. Shook furthered his education and completed a two-year general practice residency at UCLA and the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System in 2018. Here, he received extensive training in all facets of dentistry, with an emphasis on implant dentistry. Dr. Shook has attended several post-graduate continuing education courses in dental implant therapy and recently received his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Shook relocated back to Colorado Springs in 2018 to join his mentors at Powers Dental Group.
Dr. Paul Smith graduated with high distinction from the University of Minnesota in 1995 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has also attended numerous post-graduate courses of study in dental implants and endodontics.
His special areas of interest and training are: dental implants, endodontics (root canal therapy), crowns, and bridges.
Dr. Trent Glaser received a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1995, and in 1999, he graduated from the OU College of Dentistry. Since then, he has worked exclusively in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area before relocating to join Powers Dental Group in 2015
Dr. Glaser has taken numerous continuing education courses to improve patient care in several facets of dentistry including: root canals, Invisalign, Lumineers, veneers, and most recently, implant placement and restorations. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Colorado Springs Dental Society.
Dr. Jonathan Elmer graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University in 2001.
Following graduation, he spent three years of active duty as a dentist in the Army at Tripler Army Medical Center and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
During his time with the military, Dr. Elmer’s training included a one-year residency in general dentistry, where he continued to study and practice in all specialties of dentistry. He joined Powers Dental Group in 2015.
In his spare time, Dr. Elmer enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids.
Dr. Steve Crisler received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Upon graduating, he entered the United States Army Dental Corp and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Dr. Crisler has additional training in Invisalign and orthodontic care. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Colorado Springs Dental Society.
Dr. Crisler is proud to have served patients in the community since 2004. He and his team give patients a warm welcome along with an ongoing commitment to their dental health.
Dr. Crisler and his family love being outdoors. They especially like snow and water skiing.
Dr. Collin Brones attended the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then attended a general practice residency program for one year, continuing to study and practice advanced techniques in all specialties of dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentists, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Colorado Springs Dental Society.
Dr. Brones joined Powers Dental Group in 2003 and continues to utilize all the latest techniques and materials.
In his spare time, he enjoys the great outdoors of Colorado with his wife and two children.
Dr. Kelton is a licensed dentist in Colorado. Born and raised in Costa Rica, she attended University of Costa Rica where she first obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2013. She subsequently attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and continued practicing in Dallas, TX before permanently moving to Colorado. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Dr. Kelton is meticulous and committed to providing patients with excellent care and comfort for the best patient experience. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking trails and exploring Colorado.
