As a child, Dr. Jason loved playing soccer. One day, as he went up for a header, he chipped his front tooth on another player’s head! “I was terrified that day, thinking I’d have to go the rest of my life with a broken front tooth, but when I went to my dentist and realized that the chipped tooth could easily be fixed with a simple filling, I was in awe of the potentially life-changing treatment that dentists are capable of.”
Understanding first-hand the impact that he could have on people’s lives by improving their smiles, Dr. Jason began pursuing dentistry with a passion. Dr. Jason completed both his undergraduate studies and his dental degree at UCLA. After spending a decade on the Westside, he met his now-wife who grew up here in Torrance. After spending time in the South Bay, he knew that this is where he wanted to plant his roots.
Dr. Jason believes trust is the foundation of all patient relationships and seeks to reflect that by educating patients about their dental needs and providing gentle, quality care. When it comes to dentistry, there are no silly questions and Dr. Jason loves teaching patients about why taking care of their teeth is so important.
When he’s not talking teeth, Dr. Jason enjoys escape rooms, watching and playing sports, and taking care of his four chickens!
Dr. Peter Cacos is a Torrance dentist who graduated from Occidental College and then from USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry.
He is known for his friendly and compassionate demeanor and he works with each patient as if they were a member of his family. Patients who are especially fearful of dentistry find his bedside manner calming and relaxing and before they know it they trust him to take care of them and are no longer that fearful anymore.
He is dedicated to giving each of his patients the personal attention needed to feel comfortable. He takes time to educate his patients on their oral health so that they can make informed decisions as to the most effective treatment for their dental needs. His goal is to help his patients reach optimum oral health and get the smile they've always wanted.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Peter and his wife enjoy watching their three boys play water polo and baseball or cooking for family and friends. On early Saturday mornings you can usually find him at local cars and coffee events.
Dr. Tiffany Chin joined Sachi & Co. Dentistry shortly after moving from New York City to the West Coast. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and from there obtained her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2010. Upon graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency program at the Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY to further enhance her dental training.
Having grown up with a passion for painting and playing the piano, Dr. Chin believes she found her calling in dentistry, as the field encompasses both detailed art and being hands-on. She also believes in creating both great relationships and experiences for her patients. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys cooking, hiking, hot yoga, playing tennis and exploring new places in California with her fiancé.
Dr. Sho Izumi earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles and graduated from dental school at Loma Linda University.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and Harbor Dental Society.
Dr. Izumi is very dedicated to dentistry because she knows first-hand the difference that professional dental care can make. “Growing up, I was not confident or happy with my smile,” she says. “Crooked teeth, an open bite, a lower jaw that was poorly positioned — these were just some of the issues I had. However, with the help of a team of dentists and the support of my parents, I eventually saw an amazing transformation! I could not be happier with my smile now.”
Dr. Izumi strives each day to give her patients the good experience she had and wants to help them achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Dr. Izumi enjoys arts and crafts, baking and cooking. She loves exploring new restaurants and matcha cafes. She also loves the beautiful California beaches.
Hi. I am Dr. Sachi Fujita and I am so grateful to be able to serve the people of the South Bay. The people of this community make this place a gem in a busy city. I have been practicing in the South Bay for over 15 years and I am proud to be the leader of an amazing group of talented professionals. I believe it is special and important that our community have a place where they can trust the team to take care of them as though they were family.
I am a Los Angeles native and I hopped around the country for my education and returned back here to settle down near my family. I left Los Angeles to attend preparatory school at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH, then to college at University of California at Berkeley. I then continued on to dental school at UCSF in San Francisco and, after graduation, started a small practice in the South Bay. Much of my traveling now is tied to continuing education which allows me to expand my experience and knowledge so that I can better care for my patients.
The most rewarding part of my career is connecting with people and making a difference in their lives, however large or small. My patients’ best interests are at the heart of my practice and I appreciate all of the support I have received from my patients who have put their trust in this local dental office.
