April Fogg is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner who is excited to be a part of the Wiregrass Direct Primary Care team. She is originally from Virginia, but comes to us from Tennessee where she attended East Tennessee State University and graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing in 2018. As a nurse, April has worked in many fields, including cardiology, surgery, and IV therapy. She attended the University of Tampa and graduated with her Master’s in Family Nursing Practice in 2022. She is passionate about preventative medicine and treating the whole person, mentally, physically and emotionally. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 dogs.
Mariangely Gomez Melindez, better known as Mara, is originally from Ponce, PR. She graduated with honors from Keiser University in 2021 with her Master of Science in Nursing. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is nationally certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mara also holds memberships with Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses Council and Dress for Success of Tampa Bay. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Mara has experience in multiple settings including outpatient clinic, home health, skilled nursing facilities and inpatient medicine. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog Marlin and hanging out with friends. Mara is passionate about preventative medicine and her patients overall wellbeing. With over 6 years of experience in nursing, I am now expanding my knowledge and career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I completed my Bachelor's in 2014 and my Master's Degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2019. Throughout my career, I have worked in Progressive Care, Trauma, Labor and Delivery, Triage, and Home Health. I have also mentored and trained numerous novice nurses. My experiences as a bedside critical care nurse and home health nurse have all shape my practice to work well with all populations, embracing all diversity, where I can help maximize healthy lifestyles. Additionally, I have provided services in primary care, bio-identical hormone therapy, ozone therapy, and seek to provide overall wellness through a holistic approach. Michael is a Board Certified Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years experience in the medical field, most of that experience was in Emergency Departments in Missouri and Florida.

Michael is a Graduate of Maryville University out of St. Louis Missouri. He and his wife Erin and their two children William, and Kenzi moved to the Tampa area in 2016.
